The i7’s front and rear power windows all open or close with one touch of the switches, making it more convenient at drive-up windows and toll booths, or when talking with someone outside of the car. The Spectre’s rear power window switches have to be held the entire time to close them fully.
The i7 has two rear doors to provide better access for cargo and rear passengers. The Spectre doesn’t offer rear doors.
The i7’s power window, power lock, power mirror and cruise control switches are lit from behind, making them plainly visible and easier to operate at night. The Spectre’s power window switches are unlit, making them difficult to find at night and operate safely.
To shield the driver and front passenger’s vision over a larger portion of the windshield and side windows, the i7 has standard extendable sun visors. The Spectre doesn’t offer extendable visors.
A power rear sunshade and rear side window sunshades are standard in the i7 to help block heat and glare for the rear passengers. The Spectre doesn’t offer a rear sunshade.
The i7 has standard front air conditioned seats and offers them optionally in the rear. This keeps the passengers comfortable and takes the sting out of hot seats in summer. The Spectre doesn’t offer air-conditioned seats in the rear.
Both the i7 and the Spectre offer available massaging front seats. The i7 also offers optional massaging rear seats in order to maximize comfort and eliminate fatigue on long trips. Massaging rear seats aren’t available in the Spectre.
The i7 is equipped with both FM and AM stereo radios, offering access to more content and better coverage than the Spectre, which solely provides FM radio. With AM radio, you can enjoy a wider variety of stations featuring news, talk shows, sports commentary, native language programing, automated traffic guidance, and emergency broadcasts. AM waves travel further and penetrate buildings and obstacles more effectively than FM signals, especially at night. Having both FM and AM stereo radios the i7 offers a more comprehensive listening experience compared to only FM in the Spectre.
HD Radio boasts several benefits over conventional radio: superior sound quality with clearer and consistent FM broadcasts, CD-quality audio, and Multicast Channels offering up to four streams from a single station, adding programming choices. Cars like the i7 equipped with HD Radio provide an improved in-car entertainment experience. The Spectre, devoid of this technology, foregoes these benefits. Selecting the BMW i7 empowers drivers to enjoy a more immersive and enjoyable listening experience while on the go.
Both the BMW i7 and the Rolls-Royce Spectre have a standard Qi wireless phone charging system in the front seat. To easily keep personal devices charged in the rear seat, without cables tangling and wearing out, the i7 also has a standard wireless charging system in the rear seat. The Spectre does not.
The i7’s Parking Assistant can parallel park or back into a parking spot by itself, starting, stopping and changing direction automatically. Optional Remote Control will park and retrieve your car remotely: press a button and watch it park itself. This is ideal for tight locations. The Spectre’s automatic parking system does not offer parking by remote control.
